The States top oil and gas regulator, Tim Kustic - Oil and Gas Supervisor at the Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources speaks to the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, April 9th about hydraulic fracturing.
On Tuesday VC County Counsel told Supervisors that they could not ban fracking in the County - cities and counties from Colorado to NY have banned fracking, there have been lawsuits, in NY Courts are upholding the local governments right to place moratoriums on the process. But the attorneys for the County did emphasize that the County can deny permits.
